SnoutTag

SnoutTag was a low-cost pet identification tag provider specialising in QR code technology.

Originally launching as an online-only business in 2023, SnoutTag experienced an unpredictable three-year journey before ceasing operations in late 2026, largely due to a lack of investment and a relatively small workforce facing the demands of a much larger operation.

Today, the company has declared that they will immediately cease to exist once its domain registration expires.

At the request of Brooklyn Holdings, its parent company, an official closure statement was requested. The statement reads as follows:

" To our customers, We wanted to let you know that SnoutTag has made the difficult decision to shut down operations due to unforeseen circumstances. We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of you who supported us along this journey - it has meant the world to us. "

This is the same statement previously published on SnoutTag's website. The original publication also included a link to the company's eBay store, where decommissioned devices were available for purchase.

However, this link has been omitted from this publication. Following the link today results in an "Account not found" error on the eBay platform.

REDAN Trust, the parent organisation of Brooklyn Holdings, has added a closure notice to the homepage of the SnoutTag website.

The notice reads:

" We regret to inform you that SnoutTag has ceased all operations. If you wish to read more, visit the Brooklyn Blog page; the link to which can be found here. "
